Yes. Open app.laimabio.com in Safari or Chrome and sign in. Lists, forms, the camera scanner, reports, and Ask Laima fit a phone screen. There is nothing to install.
Does Laima work on an iPad?
Yes. Held upright, the section menu folds away so lists and forms get the full width. Orders, low-stock suggestions, and Finance keep their key columns on screen.
Do I need the iPhone or Android app?
No. The free apps are for fast QR and Datamatrix scanning. Everything else, including scanning with the browser camera, works at app.laimabio.com.
Can I scan lab labels with my phone camera?
Yes. Open Inventory actions → Scan to use and allow the camera when the browser asks. If the camera is blocked, Laima shows how to allow it. You can also select the item manually.
Can I use Ask Laima on my phone?
Yes. Open it from the top of any page. The chat stays above the keyboard while you type, and you can attach a photo of a delivery note. AI requests use shared team credit.
Does Laima work without an internet connection?
No. Laima runs in the browser and needs a connection. Your records are stored on Laima servers in the EU, not on the phone.
Is Laima on a phone free?
Yes. Phones, tablets, and computers use the same free account with unlimited users. Ask Laima and AI spreadsheet column suggestions use shared team credit.
