Service description
LAIMA is a cloud-based laboratory inventory management platform that helps research teams track reagents, manage consumption, and generate compliance-ready reports. These terms govern your use of the LAIMA website and application.
Account responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share your account with unauthorized users. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Acceptable use
You agree to use LAIMA only for lawful purposes related to laboratory inventory management. You must not: attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the platform; use the service to store or transmit malicious code; interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure; or use automated means to access the service without our written permission.
Your data
You retain all rights to the data you create, upload, or store in LAIMA. This includes inventory records, consumption data, reports, and any other content. We claim no ownership over your data and will not access it except as necessary to provide the service or as required by law.
Our intellectual property
The LAIMA platform, including its design, code, documentation, and branding, is the intellectual property of LAIMA. Your account grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform for its intended purpose while your account remains active.
Service availability
We strive to maintain high availability but the service is provided "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice. We are not liable for temporary unavailability due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LAIMA is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Termination
Either party may end access to the service at any time. After account closure, your data will remain available for export for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the courts of the Republic of Lithuania.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the application. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
